RISC OS Allocations Changes

As a continuation of the move towards the opening up of RISC OS sources, RISC OS Open Ltd (ROOL) have today been officially authorised by Castle Technology Ltd (owners of RISC OS) to take over the Allocations system previously run by Alan Glover.
Those wishing for an official RISC OS allocation should visit the allocations page on our website where there is more information and where allocations can be initiated.

It’s not fully organised yet but we do hope to make the allocations process more open and to provide a more automated interface onto the commonly requested allocations (e.g. SWI chunks). Part of this process will involve opening up access to (for example) the RISC OS filetype allocation list.
