RiscFF

As a fork of my VideoED project I have made a ffmpeg GUI for RISC OS. Is WinFF inspired but not a clone and not a port.
Is made like I prefer to use with my own preferences, sorry ;-)

Needs ffplay, EABI ffmpeg and the stuff around (EABIModule, SharedLib…) and so it works “complete” only with newer hardware. For ffmpeg, ffprobe the alignment exceptions are have to set “off”.
Sorry for my English language and programming limitation (any things in this GUI are improvised ;-)). I work on both.
Sorry for crunching but the code is “unclean” with unused procedures from “VideoED”. After I “clean up” I will offer a “readable” RunImage.
Please read the manual first!
I hope anyone find it useful and I get any feedback for improvements. Ideas for new options I have a lot ;-)

Raik, I watched the mp4 video, loved the various effects and was very impressed with what you have achieved. Looking forward to the continued development of this project.

Today I woke up a bit earlier… A little video about RiscFF, created with RiscFF. The snippets used today, I recorded on the MX6 last week. Quick and dirty. Not “error-free” and no audio … only things are possible in 2 hours before I drove to work.
I recognized some things that I will improve this week.

Thanks for the flowers but there is still a lot of work (unfortunately) before RiscFF is like I want it.
A new alpha mainly with bugfixes (copy and paste error ;-)) and some handling improvements.

I found code snippets that Jeffrey sent me a long time (10 years) ago. So now an “alignment exceptions” query is built in and I set it “OFF” if necessary and “ON” again when exiting the program if they were already “ON” before.
Unfortunately I have to solve some of my “inabilities” differently through improvisation ;-)
But it works for me.
In the future, the blend filters should also be visible for editing in the commandline, but the supposedly simple is harder than expected. But it will be the next step.
I hope someone finds it useful.

I have uploaded a new RiscFF beta and if anyone take a quick look use the new manual.

News from the solo entertainer ;-)
I have uploaded a new version with a bit “face lifting”. Is now Beta 2.
I have implemented a very, very simple stream support. Copy/Paste the streamurl to the upper text field.
Use at your own risk and with no guarantee that it will work. Playback often doesn’t work, but converting does (don’t forget the start time and duration).

Watch stream only.

Convert stream to a known video format.
Please not try to watch the stream and convert at the same time.

Excellent work, Raik! I look forward to playing with this when I get back to my RISC OS Pi4 in two weeks’ time. I’m a great fan of (and regularly use) YTplay.
