Use This *Command sets the configured maximum height at which to use vertical subpixel anti-aliasing. h4. Syntax *Configure FontMax5 _max_height_ h4. Parameters |<^{width:8em}. _max_height_|<^. Maximum height of font to use vertical subpixel anti-aliasing (in Points)| h4. Notes This setting is only valid with 4bpp screen modes. Before this setting is used, the following checks are made; # Look for f9999x9999 file of the correct size, then; # Look for x90y45 font of the correct size; # If the above checks fail to produce an output will it consider the values of FontMax2 and FontMax3, then FontMax4 and FontMax5 ** If the font pixel width is less than or equal to FontMax 4, then it will look for the Outline file, and construct 4 anti-aliased bitmaps for each character. ** If the font pixel height is less than or equal to the height in FontMax5, then both horizontal and vertical subpixel anti-aliasing occurs. This equates to 16 bitmaps to be constructed per character. Pixel height = height in points x pixels per inch / 72 The pixel height varies depending on the different resolution of screen mode. h4.
