h6. [[Programmer's Reference Manuals]] h6(. » [[List of modules]] h6((. » NetStatus The NetStatus module provides the fuctionality to control the display of an hourglass on the screen whenever there is prolonged activity on the Econet network. It achieves this by: * Claims the [[EconetV]] software vector, examines the reason for each call that is made to the vector * In turn, makes an appropriate call to the [[Hourglass]] module, so that the appearance of the Hourglass indicates the status of the net It also displays the percentage figures (when appropriate) which show the percentage of a transfer that has completed. h3(#led). LED Indicators The hourglass has two 'LED', one on top, and another on the bottom: |_<^{width:8em}. LED on |_<^. Meaning | |<^. Top only |<^. User's station is trying to receive data | |<^. Botton only |<^. User's station is trying to transmit data | |<^. Both |<^. User's station is waiting for a broadcast reply | h3(#reasoncodes). NetStatus Reason Code Translations NetStatus translates the reason codes for calls to [[EconetV]] into SWI calls that it makes to the [[Hourglass]] module. These are listed on the [[Econet Vector Reason Codes]] page.
