[[welcome05.png:pic]] RISC OS supports multiple file system devices, hence the first SD interface being shown as drive “0”. Note: RISC OS doesn't yet support partitions on file systems. Due to the careful arrangement of the SD card image, what it does see is the “Filecore” partition (this is the RISC OS equivalent of FAT and ext). Because of some even more clever arrangement of the contents of the SD card image, RISC OS can actually see the FAT partition of the SD card. It sees it as a file of type “DOSDisc” which it is able to access as if it's a folder because of a feature called “image filing systems”, where RISC OS is able to treat special files as folders. h4.
