h3. Overview !GateWay enables a computer with more than one installed network interface to function as a gateway station in an AUN network. A gateway station should be considered as part of the network itself and so should be kept in a secure place. That is, a gateway station should not normally also be used as a personal workstation. h3. "Bonus binaries" This is one of a group of applications and modules distributed as *Bonus Binaries* - software considered unsuitable for inclusion in the standard HardDisc4 image. They are primarily of interest to developers, and are made available on the "half a loaf" principle: the pressing need for software that performs these tasks outweighs the inconvenience of the unfinished and/or anachronistic behaviour of the software itself. h3. Installation Instructions !GateWay requires careful configuration, to reflect the "shape" of your actual network. The AUN Manager's Guide will assist you in this. h3.
