PipeDream 4.56 released

On updating the PDManuals to the 20181217 version via PackMan, the index.html files for both RefGuide and Tutorial were missing. They are in the manual download from the website, so is this a Packman error?

Most curious. It’s using exactly the same zip, so I’ll try to see what’s going on.

edit: Just tried a fresh install of PipeDream-Manuals 20181217 using PackMan 0.9.1 on ARMX6 (OS12) and all is OK.

ditto, but OK on Titanium OS5.24.

I’ve just tried it on My Pi 3B+ as well. The index.html files disappeared again.

So that’s a failure on a Pi 3B (RO5.24) and a Pi 3B+ (RO5.27, 02 Dec 2018 ROM).

To clarify: I’m using the RISC OS Pi HD4 image, which has an old version of the PipeDream manuals already present in the Manuals directory. So what I’m doing is an upgrade rather than a fresh install.

Works here on a RPi3B+ OS5.27 (17 Dec 18).

This is getting a bit weird. Is the incoming PackMan download OK in !Packages.Cache? It’s a zip filetyped as text, just drop it on SparkFS. The tests I have done are all clean installs, there was no previous version.

FWIW, a fresh install did work as expected. I think this may be down to an oddity with my HD4 image rather than an issue with the package itself. Sorry for the false alarm.

I suspect that you’re running into this bug where the files were updated outside of PackMan before the 5.24 image was built.
