RiscPCB Ground planes can now be created within the program A new IC creation tool that makes creating multiple pads quicker. The drawfile output has been updated to include the new ground planes Included in the zip file is a Tutorial Directory in here you will find PCBs I have been using the website https://jlcpcb.com/ RiscPCB now produces PI_I2S I have left the driver programs in BASIC so people could write there own versions Thanks must be given to Jeffrey Lee for advice when producing this module. Both these programs can be downloaded from http://www.mbelect.co.uk/RISCOS/ |

Haven’t tried RiscPcb for a while – is there a way of designing strip boards? |

@Colin There is no automatic way of producing strip boards but they are just rows of standard Pads |

Tks for the reply. Has anyone come up with a idea of a universal 2 module backplane that could work from A7000 to Iyonix? A pci version for the – ti – would also be nice :-) |

The Archimedes machines had a 3 row IEC connector on the motherboard for the 2/4 slot Podule backplanes, where as the Iyonix had an edge connector on the motherboard, it was also much taller to clear other components. A PCI version would different again. The only thing they would have in common is a pair of 2 row IEC connectors for Podules. |
