I imagine there might be an increase in user postings to the RPi forum. While this site remains the official support channel, if any ROOL forumites are able to stop by at the RPi forum and help people out, I’m sure that would be appreciated :) |

There’s also small write ups on Engadget and Techcrunch. Plus loads of tweets on Twitter. |

There’s now a mention on TheRegister. Google Trends is seeing a spike. |

Quote from El Reg:
Huh? Don’t you just fiddle some stuff in the configuration tool? Or it that considered “programming” by today’s pointy-clicky crowd? |

Brief mention by PC Pro (Rick, yes it’s a few clicks. Think the El Reg journo has misunderstood what I wrote about ‘following the instructions’ to enable networking) |

Fantastic! This is now the highest profile RISC OS has been since before RISC OS Open formed. Mission accomplished, I reckon… (pats ROOL colleagues on back). :) |

The interesting thing is the fact that the US is actually causing a notable amount of search traffic (nowhere near the UK, though). And, this seems to be bringing attention to the platform in general, not just the Pi port – check the rising related terms that are rated as “breakout” – terms that are unrelated to this release, such as “risc os 4”, “risc os 6”, and “risc pc” are all in there (along with terms like “risc os 5”, “risc os pi”, and “risc os open”). |

Keep an eye on the comments here for more pointers to RISC OS in the news. |

Mission going well, phase 2 can commence.
Oh yes. Pat on back and pass round the chocolate hob-nobs. |

I fully intend phase 2 to involve lasers and sharks. Maybe a hollowed-out volcano. |

How about phase 1b where the CVS records time stamps as GMT rather than BST? :) |
