Is it possible to show the “cover art” of a mp3-file in DigitalCD? |

No I just skip the ID3V2 metadata in DiskSample. I think AMPlayer could be configure to parse that info and an could be asked to return the data associated to a given tag but I don’t think I have ever seen anyone make use of it. I must say supporting all those exotic text/image tags where never a priority. |

No problem. |

For reference, our MusicMan 2 allows you to (web-search-for and) drag in a JPEG for album art when making MP3 or WAV files. This is embedded in the file and is shown when Windows Media Player (etc) play the file or parse a folder of files. Andre – if you’d like a copy to try, I’d be happy to send it over. |

And for Windows I can heartily recommend MP3tag which is regularly updated. |

Is there a *command to read either the running time or the bit rate of an mp3 file? Only one of these is needed, since knowing the file length gives you the other one. |

Incorrect – MP3s can be variable bitrate. |

Not without a tool e.g. ffmpeg, fprobe, lame… DiscSample (? Not sure). |
