WiFi Printing

I am thinking of changing my All in one USB printer for one with WiFi and I am wondering where I can find information on how to continue printing from my Acorn RiscPC via my Windows 10 PC, at present I am using Uniprint, The connection is set to :- UniprintFS: 192,168,1,54/HP, that being the IP address of the PC in use. Will this still be correct when the PC and printer will not be connected via the USB lead? Help please! |

Should be (typing errors excepted!) This topic, and others like it, should be posted to Community Support rather than Announcements. |

I have posted this item in Community Support. Not sure what (typing errors excepted!) means. Other wise thank you for your answer. |

I think that’s a reference to 192,168,1,54/HP as opposed to 192.168.1.54/HP – IP’s are represented as a dotted quad. BTW. Supplemental to Andrew’s comments about the printer share I would say endeavour to stick with your share name of “HP” rather than any complicated name with spaces that Windows might offer/suggest. |
