Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club Meeting on Wednesday 2nd October 2019 at 7.45pm Gavin CrawfordGavin Crawford will be talking about how he uses Ovation Pro to produce professionally printed hard back books, and how RISC OS was utilized for a research project into historic textiles that was 10 years in the making. Chris Cox – Wednesday 6th November 2019 at 7.45pmChris Cox, formerly of Acorn Risc Technologies, will be giving us a personal insider’s perspective on the last few years of Acorn from 1995 to 1998 including the formation of the Clan, launch of the StrongARM, formation of ART, the network computer and the eventual closure of Acorn computer business in 1998. He will aim to give an insight into what was happening behind the scenes within the company as the significant changes that shaped these years unfolded.
