Now allows an existing drawfile or drawfiles to be included in the file being built, at specified coordinates. For any draw file that is being included it will be placed so that its origin is at the specified coordinates. Provided that any fonts used in the draw file being added have already been defined in the font table of the file being built, the references will be automatically corrected as the file is added. If not defined, then they will be substituted by the system font and a warning given. Available from !Store as version 2.62. One application for this is to generate a book cover with the precise amount of bleed and spine width and then to add two maps exported as draw file from RiscOSM (each with different font tables) in a precise position so that the entire cover is a vector graphic (rather than a bit map) for optimum printing. Previously only bit maps (sprites and JPEGs) could be so inserted. |
