FireBenchNeon and Intro release

Hi there, due to resent benchmarking activities & coding I wanted to add !FireBenchNEON V0.1 to my old !FireBench V0.6 application. As you might guess it’s using NEON instructions for the calculation of the fire, what provides a major speedup and can serve as a benchmark to show the capabilities of the NEON unit but also the memory speed. You can find it here. Furthermore a sizecoding intro including sound for Risc OS. It shows some altering text/graphics effect + bytebeat techno sound in just 832 Bytes at 800×600×8Bit resolution:-) Check the source and extra folder to gain some insights in coding stuff like that. Many thanks have to go to Jeffrey for doing the sound handler and updating CodePressor for compression. You can find the intro here. It’s called “Blury”. Tested only on RPI3/Risc OS 5.24. Before anybody asks…as the graphics effect looks like some virus/bacteria spreading…I started coding that months ago..the only thing that should spread is Risc OS ! In that sense…stay healthy and go coding. @Edit: If you experience any crashes on your system with the apps/intro, just tell me. |
