FF has always behaved like that for me – I have only suffered from the cookie problem very very occasionally. It seemed to behave differently for different people for some very obscure reasons. |

I’m no longer seeing the problem in Firefox on Win10, although I have to be unlucky for it to happen. My usual route has (almost) always via the Home page to Login before going to the Forum. It’s only on a few occasions when I forgot and tried to log in from the Forum page that it used to fail. I leave the PC running 24/7 and I’m always logged out by morning – either a session timeout or some site/server maintenance overnight I suspect. |

it all depended on what you understood by “home page”. For a long time I had this: https://www.riscosopen.org/forum/ as the bookmark. Starting there reliably displayed the problem, at least using Firefox. |

All solved on FF on Win 7. |

Took it to an extreme case just now, through a proxy with AV inspection and a firewall with AV inspection and a PAT pool gateway and the NHS ZScaler proxy – still worked. As does this one… |

Seems all solved on FF on Mac (High Sierra & Mojave). I’ve got so used to a perfectly satisfactory workaround that I had to think how to check! |

A login problem is not solved for the Iris browser. If you right click on a link to get the page in a new window (tab) , the page tells you that you are logged out. I looked at the cookies file and didn’t see any riscosopen cookies. |
