HTML Entities to UTF-8 Converter

I’ve written a little RISCOS app to do this. You might well wonder why bother? HTML5 likes UTF-8. It’s perfectly good at handling HTML entities too, but I find it easier to edit files I can read…on editors (on the other platform) that display UTF-8…on the other hand, whatever platform I’m using, it’s easier to type Sometime I might write another app to do the converse – after all, in Zap on the Pi |

Updated: a few more HTML entities it knows about. Also, if there are any entities in your HTML file that it doesn’t recognize, it now makes a log file listing them. They’re easy enough to add in DATA statements in the program. |

The promised app to do the converse is now ready too, and I’ve updated XP1EntFix again for a couple more characters, and to remove http://clive.semmens.org.uk/RISCOS/XP1EntFix.html gives you both. |
