Decrypt Logic Game

On my 1024×768 display the toggle size window icon causes the Decrypt window to jump to the top right with only half the window on screen.

BB -xM, ROS 5.29

I was wondering if it was possible to have an option on the menu to show the frame rate (fps) or not.

I cant see the same effect here but most of this operation is handled by the toolbox?

I’ll have a look but as the game uses its own internal timer its not so dependent on the FPS thats why you get the same speed on the slower Iyonix as on the newer machines.

I had the slow down issue in Munchy again today. I remembered StarGate shows the FPS. This showed the fps to be between 1 and 4fps instead of 75fps on the high score screen. Playing the game was impossible as moving left and right was too fast.
Rebooting cleared the issue.
Haven’t worked out yet what sequence of events cause it to happen. Something seems to be affecting the timing.

Well Munchy uses Timermod to regulate its speed to a simulated FPS but Stargate counts the actual FPS and then
tries to adjust its speed to the slower or faster FPS.

The two games are using different approaches to game speed so it sounds like its something external to the games is causing the problem.

I have never seen this effect (so far) so perhaps it is something else your running?.
