Lovebyte intro demo competition

Some demoscene related RISC OS releases…

Last weekend over 3 days for the first time an online event took place which focused only on intros smaller than 256 Byte, called Lovebyte 2021
There were lots of categories, going down to 32 Bytes. And even showcases for 8 and 16 Byte were displayed.

As the platform choice wasn’t limited in any way also two entries for RISC OS entered the 256 Byte compo, one by myself, one by Optimus. Direct links here:

There are so many nice entries, lots for DOS, Spectrum, Atari, Apple IIe,…I think even BBC Micro. A complete new platform is the so called virtual fantasy computer called TIC-80, to be programmed also in LUA. For that even live coding battles took place. You can e.g. look at that this video
