Themable Wimp available

There have been lots of good discussions on our forum about themable Wimp features. Well, thanks to Fred Graute we now have a set of updates to the Wimp which you’d be welcome to try out.

At the moment, you’ll have to build the Wimp module yourself then place it somewhere like !Boot.Choices.Boot.PreDesk. Let us know if you run into any problems by putting fault reports into our bug tracker.

We will soon be putting pre-built releases of things like the Wimp onto the downloads part of our site. Feedback on that would also be very welcome.

Right, there are now lots of new pre-built components on the Downloads part of our site, notably in the Modules section but various other things, too, like the Phoenix flavour of Browse and various updated applications (Alarm, SciCalc, Printers, etc). Go and have a look!

Well, that was 2008 :)
I seem to recollect that section was pulled around Christmas last year.

Talking to the guys at Wakefield elicited the info that this was due to it being almost impossible to maintain. It is hoped that a reappearance will happen when an autobuilder solution can be found.
