It is time to dust off your best frock and high heels and prepare to strut down the red carpet for the showbiz event of the year, the RISC OS Awards 2020.

Your host for the evening’s celebrations will be none other than RISCOSistory supremo Vince Hudd. He will be announcing the results of the prestigious awards and handing out the much sought after trophies(*) to the lucky winners.

Join us for all the excitement, joy, tears, and tantrums, so you can tell your grand children that you were there on the momentous night!

Channel Rick Wakeman, as at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction – but you need a proctologist joke or similar.

I haven’t notified any winners – I haven’t really considered doing this in such a way as to have them kneel before me in gratitude at my benevolence make speeches to give thanks to all and sundry because it’s the first time doing it this way (and it’s only ROUGOL’s second hybrid meeting). If it works out, though, perhaps it could be expanded on next year.

It would be fun if lots of the nominees attend the meeting to, maybe, accept an award :-)

Would have loved to have been there, but we were on holiday and I’m very bad at keeping up with the forum.

You may not have won the official awards, but you and Dave surely won the gratitude of the RISC OS musicians community! The USBMIDI is totally awesome! :) (we may be just 3 or 4 guys, but definitely we are the loudest! lol)
