DBack and DRest updated

I’ve updated my DBack and DRest applications. DBack creates a backup of a directory tree, possibly an entire drive. It’s very fast, multi-tasks very smoothly, and is relatively friendly towards flash storage devices. DRest is the companion restore application. This release (1.02) extends encryption to the Index file, allows big backups to be split into manageable file chunks, splits the Index and Log files, and adds CRC integrity checking. You can find both, along with some other (possibly interesting) stuff, on my web site https://davehigton.me.uk I do like to hear from users, whether they have had success or not; so, if you use these apps, please email me! |
