!GoL, version 2.00

Dear all,

After having uploaded many minor updates to my initial Game of Life, I now proudly announce version 2.00.

Apart from numerous bug fixes, it has many enhancements over the first version, such as larger grids, much easier grid manipulation, a wealth of predefined patterns (nearly 1,000!), interactive help support, keyboard control and above all: much faster animation.

(The Game of Life is invented by the English mathematician John Conway. It lets cells (black squares on a white grid) evolve according to 3 simple rules. The result is simply fascinating.)

I don’t know about other browsers, but Safari complains about that link. https://riscos.sprie.nl/Pages/Software.html (no www) works correctly.

Yes, I now vaguely remember that the ‘www’-part should be dropped since some time. My Firefox doesn’t complain, but that’s probably because it’s still in the cache, or something like that. Anyhow, here’s the proper link (I think):

BTW. Your site is better configured than a long list of medical equipment suppliers I could name, some of those are multi-million dollar corporations.
