Hi I have released a new application for RISC OS called KevNav a UK route finder. It gives a route between 2 UK post codes for either small motor vehicles and push bikes with a choice of distance units either Imperial or Metric. The route can be saved in plain text, html and kml formats, also if an application that can understand kml files like RiscOSM then a map button will be available to get a map of the route. KevNav requires a working internet connection and wget to work, with the data coming from The Transport API site There is also a short YouTube video of it in action |

An impressive bit of work. A long distance journey, mostly on Motorways, was exactly as I would have travelled. A shorter journey on local roads got me where I wanted to go, but only in a small car, via a coutry lane. |
