GetIPPInfo released

I’ve released a small test app to collect IPP info from printers that support IPP. I hope many of you will collect the data and forward them to me; this is to help development of stuff for IPP printing on RISC OS.

You’ll find it at https://davehigton.me.uk while it still has relevance.

I’ve been naughty in that I haven’t requested allocation for the app’s name or system variables. This is because I don’t think it will be necessary for anyone to keep it for very long; and I rate the chances of a name clash to be very low.

Please read the app’s Help before attempting to run it.

I don’t think it can gather any private information, or infringe on your security or privacy in any way. I say more about this in the app’s Help file.

Here, in the General forum, there is a thread “Printing”. I think that’s the best place to report bugs, request support, ask questions, etc.
