It's almost hear - MUG Virtual event - 11am-4pm Saturday 2nd July 22

Just a quick reminder that the MUG virtual event via Zoom is on tomorrow, Saturday 2nd July 22 between 11am-4pm.

MUG are proud to announce a full line up of exhibitors who will be doing a mixture of live in person events through out the day and rolling presentations as well.

We have AmCog Games,Cloverleaf, Drag’N Drop, Elesar, RComp, RISC OS Developments, RISCOSBits, RISC OS Open Ltd, Sine Nomine, Soft Rock Software, Wi-Fi Sheep, MUG and not to forget the Virtual Kitchen.

To gain access details to the Zoom event you will either have to:

- Have attended a recent MUG meeting.
- Request details from MUG by 5pm today.
- Or visit the event site
on the day to get access details.

Just a reminder to visitors and exhibitors.
Our show tomorrow will make a lot of use of “breakout rooms”. There have been changes recently to the breakout room support so be sure to update to the latest version of Zoom.
This may vary depending on OS platform.
For example as of now Zoom on Windows and Mac is at version 5.11.1 (I am not sure about Linux)

If you are using a Zoom client app you can check version number by starting the app, then before joining a meeting click on the Account icon which is at the top on the right. This will give a menu with the option to check for updates.
Alternatively, you can check your version level from within Zoom by opening Settings and going to Statistics.

MUG is running a practice session tonight fom 1800 to 1915. Anyone is welcome to join tocheck your system and ask questions.

For the duration of the show, the Impression User Manual (which includes an exclusive URL liink for the Impression Publisher Plus software, version 5.13) is available for £25 post free. The Guide to the Impression Suite (which describes Equasor, TableMate, WordWorks/HyperView and SepEd2) is also available for £12 post free.

Both offers are ‘while stocks last’. I do not expect to do a reprint.

There is still time to join join in the Midsummer MUG show and catch the ROOL talk. The show finishes formally at 4pm but will assuredly continue as a party till well after this time.
We have had more than 50 participants during the day with some coming and going.
