Good news. Please port the EFIKA MX Smartbook first ;-) |

At the risk of doing a “me too” I’d like to second that and hope that it’s something ROOL and EFIKA can work together on. Is this a bi-product of all the publicity RISC OS is getting through the Raspberry Pi? I noticed a couple of people reading about it in Linux User in the supermarket yesterday. |

I am working for Genesi ,and I convinced them to sponsor me for the porting effort. The first thing is giving me better hw to build on. Actually I am working on a pretty generic i.MX 53 port at the moment ,but since the 53 and 51 has much in common it shouldn’t be any problems to do a smartbook version. I hope someone make a news notice about this. |

The smartbook is where your company is likely to make sales. Especially if it is easy to switch between RISC OS and Linux (i.e no swapping cards). The desktop would likely get a few sales, because of it being sponsored by the manufacturers. But as I understand it, you can target the port to your company’s common software interface, rather than the individual devices’ hardware directly. |

Michael, I’d recommend you send your information directly to Icon Bar staff (http://iconbar.com/staff/contact.php?name=news), RISC OS Info (http://www.riscos.info/index.php/RISC_OS) or MyRISCOS (http://www.myriscos.co.uk/) because they may have missed your post. Then of course there’s https://www.riscosopen.org/content/contact. |

I’d also suggest RISCOSCode and RISCOSitory |
