Back when people first discussed these things, the suggestion was to identify the time as UTC to eliminate the problems surrounding the DST farce. |

The meetup will be at 19:30 on the 1st of April. ;) And yes, UK clocks will have gone forward by 1 hour taking us into British Summer Time (BST). |

By then we will have had a week to get accustomed to summer time. So half past seven should be clear enough. |

Of course, anyone outside the UK should subtract one hour to get UTC and then add their own local time zone value :) |

Simples. Give both. Half past seven (local time). (18:30 UTC) |

Come on, just give it as a 5-byte RISC OS timestamp. We can all interpret those! |

My TimeZones application will give the time difference between GMT and local time, |

Hello Andrew, as mentioned above, the next meetup is on the 1st of April at 7:30 pm (GMT, BST).
What’s the thinking? |

Thanks! I missed the data above. April 1st is good for me so I should be able to join for this one. Re the Saturdays I was just thinking myself that I’m normally busy/have some event to attend so was wondering if a weekday evening might better but if the Saturdays have worked so far for others then maybe it’s as a good day as any. |
