;) I’m interested. Something that would help is some feedback on them to help us understand their relevance not only to newcomers but to existing RISC OS users and developers interested in Coding. Join in, and let us know your thoughts. |

The videos are well produced, interesting and most importantly provide useful information on programming on RISC OS. I have only seen the videos that were shown during the fireside chat on Saturday so far but I intend watch them again over the next week and follow along with the code myself so I will try and provide further feedback shortly. Thanks for the effort people have made in creating this video series. |

Well done. I’ve only skimmed through, but it’s good to see things like the shared makefiles being used instead of reinventing the wheel :) |

Thanks for the feedback :) This new set of videos seems to be having a lot of success, views are almost already matching previous set (which has been published now for 2 months), we where a bit worried that the code details might bore or scare away people, but it seems quite the opposite actually. The great news is most of the views are (according to YouTube stats) from outside the UK! So far: Total 395 views United Kingdom 139 views, 35.2% United States 16 views, 4.1% Germany 13 views, 3.3% Other countries 227 views, 57.4% [Edit] |

Good videos! It was a nice meeting. When I went to look I noticed most of the code wasn’t up on Github yet, but it looks like the C++ one has been added now. The python link is a 404 though still. |

@ Lauren Thanks a lot for your feedback! :)
Yes, sorry, my fault, got busy at work and then family, so had not much time to publish all the code yet. At the moment I have published: - GNU Assembly code example I hope I’ll have enough time tomorrow to upload also Python and Lua code examples. Again sorry for the waiting. |

The next ‘Coding on RISC OS’ fireside chat is on Saturday 3rd June 2023 (ie. not far off now), though as it’s June it may be a poolside chat instead as summer approaches in the northern hemisphere. If you have a particular interest in a programming language or dialect for RISC OS and fancy making a tutorial about it, there’s detail here of the next step in the tutorial videos (the previous step is on youtube and introduction to Git too). To make a video you just need
You don’t need to appear in the video, so they can be recorded in your pyjamas. Paolo edits them together to make them look pretty with captions and similar. I’ve bagged the ‘C’ one, maybe you’re interested in BASIC or Perl or one of the other common languages? |
