There was an interesting interview with Eben on Ars Technica yesterday. It’s about 40 minutes long and he talks about the impact of the pandemic on supplies of the different devices and why he made the decisions he did with reference to prioritising supplies to businesses both large and small. |

There are also a couple of similar interviews of Eben in the last week or so on YouTube by David Bombal. Probably covers much the same gound, by their descriptions. |

Yeah, he is pretty much being asked about Pi supply shortage on every single interview in the last few months: The one on arstencnica is actually with Geerling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_aL9V0JsQQ&t=1412s This one is with Bombal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HrbU2G6fU4 And also this one (always with Bombal), but more interesting tech stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5ijfjgp9r8 |

I suppose we have to put this down to learning difficulties in the journalistic field. Although, we could put it down to memory spans akin to goldfish, since this is a gap of a couple of years. There’s a reason the network refresh at my local hospital trust is about 18 months late. |
