A quick heads up and a reminder that our next informal “Coding on RISC OS” fireside chat, online Zoom meetup is this Saturday, 25th November 2023, at 7:30 pm (18:30 UTC). If you are interested in coming along, DM me on ChatCube, Twitter or Toot, or send an email for the Zoom meeting credentials; see the link at the bottom of the page. The credentials will be the same if you’ve been before. If you are curious about the meetup, read this great writeup. Everyone’s welcome. Come and join in. |

A big shout-out to everyone who made it; the next meetup is on 20th January 2024. Python was one of the topics that came up, and the generous nature of everyone involved helped a few folk figure out aspects of what was involved in using Python with the Toolbox. If you have a question or want to talk about a project you’re working on, share RISC OS-focused developer experience or knowledge. Then, join us all at the next warm and friendly fireside chat. Everyone is welcome, whether you have no experience and are curious or brimming with expertise. Come and join. |

If people have questions about the Python toolbox libraries, remember you can raise them on the repository itself – https://github.com/c-jo/riscos-toolbox/issues Recently there have been a number of fixes going into the system, based on testing and use, and you’ll see the README has been updated on the repository to show the recent changes to the system. Although Chris has limited time (don’t we all?!), he’s been trying to fix some of the more obvious problems that have come up, and make it easier to use the system. |
