Wizard Lore : A New RISC OS Puzzle Game

We are pleased to announce that Wizard Lore is available for download from the PlingStore:

This is version 1.01 which has some minor fixes since release at the RISC OS South West Show. Including:
Fixed preservation of levitation on saved game/load.
Fixed one puzzle to ensure it requires two rocks.
Added instructions for key used to select a spell (1 2 or 3).

Thanks to all those who bought copies at the RISC OS South West Show. Your support is greatly appreciated. Whilst these are only minor fixes, you may wish to update your copy via the Plingstore using your download code which you can enter via “Special Instructions, promo code etc.” in the Plingstore.

Plot and Game Play

You are a wizard who been imprisoned by your nemesis the evil wizard Igen. He tried an amnesia spell on you and it mostly worked. However you still remember 3 spells:

You can perform only so many spells before your energy is depleted. Your only hope is to use the spells to escape.

Spell potions have been stored in the cave – if you can break out of the first part of the cave with the little energy that you have left.

You can push boulders or cast spells on the plants, ropes, boulders or any other objects to find a way out. Watch out for slate as it can be fragile if items fall on it.

There are no other creatures in the cavern and as you are a wizard you are immortal. If you run out of spells or get stuck – as you cannot die – you can freeze yourself and wait for a few thousand years or maybe forever!
