OWB free for all!

I feel that the OWB browser has come to an end. I will not add more features and only minimal fixes. Therefore I now give it away to all that would like to try it. Some thoughts : Some usage notes: Bookmarks: I use a text file in StrongED with links that I can double click on. I just drag urls from url field to the text files to add more bookmarks. Downloads: It kind of works if you have a directory called “owb” in scrap dir. OWB will show that directory when download is done. Be sure not to close the window that started the download before you can see the file. No promises from me about if this works.. should do but I have seen some downloads just end up void. Uploads : NO HTML Gadgets : NO Copy/paste: You can paste into browser but not the other way. The feel when scrolling webpages is the same as with NetSurf. Also page loading is about the same speed, except for sites with a lot of big images. OWB is very slow on decoing images.. I haven’t manage to firgure out why. I am happy to answer questions, but please understand you are on your own when using OWB. I cannot take any responsibility if your computer crashes and so on. Enough talking! Here is the link: I realized that I have some “fixes” archives for the January build :) Happy browsing! |

Just one note. The main archive has a !System. Try without it first. If you ar using latest NetSurf you probably have the components needed. If the browser complains ,, merge the !System. |

I made a very tiny homepage for OWB. http://micken.se/owb/ and that is the link you can spread around. The contents is just a disclaimer and a download link to the complete archive , fixes included. |
