I am releasing a couple of new small programs that are now available on my website at www.ro32.co.uk The first is CopyToRAM. Mentioned on a Zoom meeting was the fact that moving !GCC and !Scrap and your working source code files to a RAM disc will compile C++ much faster than from an SD card or USB pen. There was some interest in it, so eventually here it is. The top of the BASIC file will need some modification to point to the files to copy. If you copy your source files to the RAM disc I would recommend creating an obey file to copy changed files back to you drive and then compiling to stop you losing any work. RunMod is an old program I wrote in 2001 that I found this afternoon. There was no source code and it was a small 26-bit module. This has been 32-bitted and new source code written. It sets RunDir$Dir and RunDir$Path whenever a file is run. This is a bit like Obey$Dir but for any file. All at www.ro32.co.uk |
