Prod me if you ever plan to hold an international show in Rennes or Nantes1…. ;-) Hint! Seriously, are any international venues planned (or unplanned but thought about) at this time? 1 Just next to Nantes is a place called Clisson, obviously built by a guy infatuated with Italian architecture. It’s a lovely place, but don’t come mid June unless you don’t mind clashing with “Hellfest” (think – Glastonbury for the leather and chains crowd) . |

Give us a chance! We’re only just getting into a position where we feel up to risking a UK show…! ;) |

I like the sound of that. |

“Hellfest”I like the sound of that. Shame for those who don’t like the sound but live too close! I wouldn’t exactly classify Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Europe and ZZ Top as “métal extrême”! But it might be worth making it a date for 2014, were it not for the drinks policy… Rick, what do you think are the chances of smuggling in some cubitenaires de vin? |

Two show reports: http://steve.swindley.co.uk/risc-os-portsmouth-2013/ Quite a few familiar faces but a few who hadn’t been to a RISC OS show in years and one attendee who had never been to a RISC OS show in his life, despite being a long term RISC OS user. He’d recently moved from Singapore to the UK and only heard of the show via our email Newsletter. It was a good show for us. If only all shows were that close! |

Thinking of having a book launch party at my house late next month (BBQ of course). So will have RISC OS running on a few RPis, potentially could make it first Sydney RISC OS Show? |

HI Bruce, is that the same Bruce who wrote the Raspberry Pi Assembly Language Beginners Hands on Guide (HOG)? Absolutely brilliant to have a new title for RISC OS users (gave it a good write up in Drag N Drop of course). May I ask if the book launch is the Raspberry Pi Assembly Language ADVANCED you mention in Appendix E of the HOG ? best wishes, |

Chris, I think it’s RISC OS System Programming revealed. |
