Our service provider will shortly be upgrading to Rails 1.2, as described in this news article: http://www.riscosopen.org/news/articles/2007/01/24/site-maintenance The first steps in this upgrade are now complete on the ROOL site; applications have been backed up and frozen on their current Rails release. You should not notice any change in the site at all but if you do encounter any problems, please report bugs using the tracker service or if unsure ask about it in this thread in the forum. If things are too broken to even manage that (!) please send fault reports to "webmaster@riscosopen.org". Note that the temporarily added frozen Rails copies in 'vendor' subdirectories of applications are not included in Subversion presently since they are due to be deleted in due course and would needlessly bloat the repository. |

All in all it went pretty smoothly – except for knocking out the forum for a month |
