IT Press love Basic... and RISC OS :)

I managed to do this… RISC OS Pico fête les 50 ans du Basic sur le Raspberry Pi Silicon.fr is in the top5 of the IT websites for big companies, with a very big audience (in UK, it’s called TechWeek). Enjoy :) |

“Cet OS pèse seulement 2 Mo, soit moins que le bootloader du Raspberry Pi.” Ouch! ;-) |

Is that really true? If so, it’s quite incredible! |

From what I see in the archive, yes, it’s true :) |

From a quick nosey it looks like the file types went AWOL… |

This is what I wrote true. Ich bin nicht bekannt für schlechte Scherze, denke ich. We (Volker and I) have the commitment by the publisher. There will be another article in the German RPi Geek. The target group are newcomers and returnees. The final version always handled the editorial and what is translated into English, we can not influence. After delivery of the texts and images, the publisher decides. We hope that helps.
The same words I read at the end of 2010 as I realized the BIK/ARMini prototype. |

They aren’t required, so we didn’t bother with them. 99% of people decompressing the zip onto the FAT format SD card wouldn’t be using RISC OS to do so, so they’d’ve lost the filetypes anyway, even if I’d bothered creating the zip file on RISC OS in the first place. |

Is there a BIKini prototype, that sounds like it would be interesting to look at? |

It looks like I misunderstand any things. Sorry.
I can not help. I’m not old enough to have the BIKini-Prototyp and this is also not a XXX-Forum. If you will see the BIK (Beagle in Kiste) = ARMini or the PIK (Panda in Kiste) = ARMini(X) naked, look at my arcor-homepage. Sorry again! |
