First create/obtain a FreeScale HAL1. Modify to match board specifics. 1Which may be the biggest hurdle |

Isn’t that an iMX-6 based system? Someone went to the trouble of defining an iMX6 product a couple of months ago: |

Presumably that was Michael Grunditz. |

As I recall the code submission was from a J. Ballance. |

Does that mean that we have a version of RISC OS for iMx6 that is ready to run, albeit buggy? |

It means that it looks from CVS as though John may be or was working on that. |

Might be a logical step to ask him, and also whether he wants to share a little. Perhaps an interested party has the skills to work on bits he hasn’t found time to do. |

Well, the iMx6 dual/quad Reference Manual has 5827 pages and is a download of about 52 MB. It looks both promising and daunting. But at least it’s available to the general public. Three cheers for Freescale! |

Oh dear. You can’t remember your wedding anniversary without electronic diary help and forget her birthday too? |

Re products/imx6/modules. At a quick glance it seems odd that the product file uses the OHCI driver but the imx6 has EHCI hardware. |

I’ve just received one of the i2ex variants of the Hummingboard. Its a great piece of kit and having that similar setup to the Pi proved useful to me as I could swap the Pi on my fairywren for the hummingboard. Three plugs, a socket and done. _ I’ve mostly been mucking about with the Linux side of things – the official Android build and XBMC build. Any takers on a prospective ROM build? Will happily test out builds and would put forward some cash to help a developer buy said device, |
