ELinux wiki 2010 Editor Contest - win an AI Touch Book

OK, this probably isn’t one for those who are keeping their hardware for the exclusive use of RISC OS!

elinux.org (home of the BeagleBoardBeginners page is running a contest throughout May. The Wiki 2010 Editor Contest (running until 31 May 2010) will judge who’s made the “best” set of edits to the eLinux wiki.

The judges will evaluate the edits based on a number of criteria, including:

the number of edits and/or size of edits
the originality of the edits or additions
the quality of the edits, including:
- whether the edits conform to accepted formatting for the wiki
- whether the edits are grammatically and syntactically correct
- how much useful information the edits contribute for other embedded Linux developers

This last criteria (“usefulness”) will dominate the evaluation.

While the ROOL wiki and code are arguably more important to those who visit here, why not pass the word around those you know who don’t have any interest in RISC OS? You never know, you may end up being able to borrow a Touch Book from a friend or colleague!

Edit: Sorry, this should probably be moved to General as it’s neither a new hardware nor software release.
