Thanks – will try that tonight! |

I made a mess of things when I did the initial upload of SparkPlug 2.29 to my web site. I believe I have now got it right. I’d got two links wrong and my ftp software defaulted to text mode for *.bas files which may explain the corrupt self extract version. If there are any problems or other bits of my software that won’t work, let me know. |

That’s great. Thanks very much for doing this. |

Thanks from me, too. I had problems using it on the beagle but they seem to have been resolved with the version. |

Hi David. Would you have any objection to our including the latest SparkPlug in our HardDisc4 image on the ROOL site? We could also add a link to your page for an individual download of the app. |

Could this be the beginnings of a ‘Bundled applications’ directory? That’d be just the ticket for new users! |

Steve – please use SparkPlug as you wish. I’d not take much talking in to doing a read only version of SparkFS for you… |
Steve Revill (20) 1361 posts |
Wow. If that’s an offer for an RO SparkFS, then we’d happily accept. :) |
David Pilling (401) 41 posts |
I’ve put a read only version of SparkFS for ROOL at: www.davidpilling.com/sfs142ro.zip let me know when you’ve retrieved it. |

Got it, many thanks. We’ll put it in the disc image. |

Much appreciated David! I’ve just purchased SparkFS from your site so when I buy a Beagleboard system I’ll have the full version to run :) |

The new HardDisc4 image with a read-only copy of SparkFS included can now be downloaded from the ROOL site. |

Just a note to say that the bundled read only SparkFS (v.1.42) can unzip the official C tools CD image OK, but is much slower than Jeffrey’s ARMv7-safe ‘unzip’. I know that SparkFS uses the WIMP and I was using unzip from the command line. Summary:

That’s useful to know. |
