BBFlash released

I’ve just put up BBFlash on my web site This is an application to write the four (BB) or six (BBxM) files necessary for a BeagleBoard or BeagleBoard xM to boot. You can write them to a card that is as supplied from the retailer, or one that has been created with the SDCreate application. If you use a card as supplied, you will retain the full storage capacity of the card. Note, however, that you will probably also need to set the first partition as Active; you can use my SDActive application (from the same web site) to do so. |

Eh? For the BB, I can count up to only 3 files including the CMOS file. So what am I missing? Is !BBFlash and R-Comp’s !FlashROM by any chance related? |

I thought another one had been added, but I’m currently on my way to Texas so I can’t check. R-Comp’s code uses my executable, yes. I’ve wrapped my own GUI round it. |

And I’m now in Texas. I hoped the plane would have wi-fi so I could’ve written “I’m on the plane” but sadly, though other 767s in the AA fleet have, mine didn’t. |
