Pico updated

I see that the download page has an updated version of Pico available now (first update since the Pi 2-compatible version in 2015). I don’t use Pico myself and can’t say what’s changed (but this might help!) but I figured I’d post a thread since there isn’t one :) |

The Pico ROM now includes the ability to work with any model of Pi (i.e. including model 3, compute modules 1, 3 and 3 light, model A+ etc.) still starting in MODE 7, with a separate file ‘CMOS’ which stores the settings (no more writing to the ROM image to do this). On versions of Pi that have EMMC (e.g. compute module 1) the SDFS is recognised as drive 4 and on versions where the storage may be SD card (most) it is recognised as drive 0. The ROM includes the GPIO module (version 1.00) for which the StrongHelp file may be downloaded from here (filetype &3d6). There are a few extra Examples files provided and some bug fixes. |
