Mop Tops Updated to Version 1.20

AMCOG Games are please to announce an update to Mop Tops.

Including:

• Sound effects produced by the RDSP virtual sound chip that employ both samples and synthesised sounds.
• Improvements to character and effects animation.
• Improvements to drag and drop.
• 8 additional levels
• 2 additional original music tracks.
• A hint for the last level access code provided.

Updates for existing users are free and a new version has been uploaded to the Plingstore (http://www.plingstore.org.uk/cgi-bin/plingstore/home.cgi).

Mop Tops costs 9.99 uk pounds. It is an arcade puzzle game for RISC OS 4 and 5 machines including Raspberry Pi, Beagleboard, Pandaboard, ARMX6, RPCEmu and Virtual Acorn.

I’m probably missing something obvious, but how do these updates work? There’s a code in the game box, but there doesn’t seem to be anywhere in PlingStore to enter them. Attempts to download the software just hit a demand for credit card details.

You go through the normal purchase process and put in the code where it asks for any special sales/voucher details.

For safety I always put in non valid card details as well.

That then registers your copy on Plingstore and makes the update available.
