5.19 running on RPCEmu 0.8.9

Emufs is something that worked on old versions of RPCEmu, new versions use hostfs.
What is the RPCEmu version you are using?

Maybe you can start with the lastest version (0.8.9) from: http://marutan.net/rpcemuspoon/

I can’t check the version I’m using for definate at the moment (I’m fairly sure it’s the latest 0.8.9)
For the RISC OS 4 ROM there is a hostfs module, for the RISC OS 5 rom hostfs doesn’t exist.
Hence in the two tests when setting the boot option in risc os 4 i used hostfs and in risc os 5 i set it to be emufs.

But my DVI-HDMI cable came, so I’m using my PI now :-D
I’ll have a look and boot into windows at some point next week I’m sure and take a look to see if it is something to do with the linux build. (I’m using linux mint 13 atm)

Hostfs should works with the RISC OS 5 rom. It sure does work with me.

As Wouter mentioned you need to make sure you’re using the latest version. Inside the rpcemu folder there should be a folder called poduleroms. This should contain these files,

916 Jan 1 2012 hostfs,ffa
996 Jan 1 2012 hostfsfiler,ffa
748 Jan 1 2012 SyncClock,ffa

At a tangent to the main topic, can I get 5.19 running in the ROOL memory stick version of RPCEmu just by downloading and substituting the newer IOMD rom.

Otherwise, what is involved, and is it as described above?
