Networking RPCEmu 0.9.0 + RISC OS 4.39 (Win 10) - Help!

I’ve managed to install RISC OS 4.39 on RPCEmu 0.9.0 and it works much better than on my Kinetic RPC. That said, whilst attempting to configure networking I have come up against an issue. My installation didn’t have the required shared C library. However on adding the shared C library and rebooting RPCEmu it appears to hang at SetUpNet – working hour glass displayed continuously. Anyone know the solution? Or am I simply not waiting long enough? |

Unlikely! OS4.39 on RPCEmu 0.9.0 on Ubuntu 18.04 running in a VM on a High Sierra iMac networks OK here with no configuration problems. The active SharedCLibrary is ROOL’s 5.97 soft loaded in On the other hand OS6.20 fails to network at all, it stiffs good and terminally on rmloading EtheRPCEm 1.00. On yet another hand I think it is safe to say the RPCEmu/W10 networking never ever works, and if it does it’s not for long. |

If DHCP is active and the Network bridge is not correctly configured (on Windows side), perhaps it’s normal that RISC OS is halted a very long time. |
