VRPC on Linux

Has anyone here – had a go recently running VRPC on Linux under Wine?

If so which version of Linux?

I had a go last night after reading your post. It installed okay, accepted the licence code and ran as far as the select model window. After that it consistantly crashed. I went through all the emulated windows versions using winecfg. No Joy I’m afraid.

Linux Mint 19 ‘Tara’, Wine 3, VRPC RPC-Adjust.

Vrpc-dl works ok but keymapping is a problem.

Have installed VRPC-DL on Ubuntu (16.04 and 18.04). Networking is fine on 16.04 but doesn’t work on 18.04.

I have VRPC running on a Dell 32bit Laptop…using MX 18 (32bit) Haven’t so far sorted networking, otherwise all seems to function as expected.

I should add that I have been unable to get RISC OS 5 to run. I am running RISC OS 3.71

AFAIK VRPC will not run RO5. Indeed, the versions of RO3 & 4 it will run depends on the VRPC version. My AdjustSA will not run RO4.02.
