Another question if I may, here on the forum, are we able to post screenshots of images or photos, if so how is this done, if it’s by Flickr then not a problem, and is there a file size or size of the actual image that you can post. |

ROOL don’t offer image hosting, so the image needs to be on an external website. So, to embed this image: you would surround the URL with exclamation marks, like this: !http://www.w3.org/Icons/valid-html401! |

Yes, if you’re happy to buy it. I suspect that it’s not geared up for use in an emulator, so you’ll be on your own getting it working (and this forum isn’t the place to ask for help, as ROOL look after RISC OS 5 and not “the other branch”). ETA: I’m also not sure what the licence conditions are for RO 4.39 or Six, so I’m not going to tell you that it’s legal to buy a copy and install it into RPCEmu. |

The website seems to imply it is legal for the other emulated product.. “The RISC OS 4.39 Easy upgrade is suitable for RiscPC, A7000, A7000+, VirtualRPC-SE and VirtualRPC-SA” But as you said it is not clear if that extends to other emulated products like RPCEmu. |

RO 4.39 works fine with RPCEmu. Six is OK too, I suppose, but you have to limit the amount of memory to 128M or the mouse pointer won’t show up. |

Here is the problem that I’m currently having, I’m sure it’s a simple fix or maybe a small error or something that I should have done. I unzipped RPCEmu-0.9.4a-Release, then renamed this folder to RPCEmu-0.9.4a – RISC OS 3.7 then copied this folder to my Mac desktop, then opened this folder and then copied the Data folder to Documents folder and then renamed this folder RPCEmu-0.9.4a – RISC OS 3.7, then finally copied the various RISC OS folders here. Started RPCEmu with RISC OS and had no problems at all, even set the screen size to suit the monitor that I’m using, so no issues here. I then did exactly the same as above for RISC OS 5.28 naming the Folder RPCEmu-0.9.4a – RISC OS 5.28 once I had copied the RISC OS 5.28 files to the folder in my Documents no problem. But when I start RPCEmu-0.9.4a RISC OS 5.28 RISC OS 3,7 starts for some reason, why would this be happening even though the correct ROM is in the correct folder, is this something simple that I should have done. Thank you for any help or advice on this one. |
