I’m currently using RPCEmu-0.9.4a using RISC OS 5.27, is it possible to add an additional HD other than hostfs, if so how do you go about this. |

IDE harddiscs (ADFS) are disabled by RPCEmu under RISC OS 5 because of a data loss bug that has not been fixed yet. |

Stefen, Thank you for your post, hopefully this may get fixed in the future. |

How about creating a mapping to a network drive from the host machine, and then a symbolic link to the mapped drive? |

Steve, How do you best go about creating a mapping to a network drive from the host machine and then creating a symbolic link. |

Two questions there. Assuming Windows as your host OS. Assuming Windows as your host OS, and you’ve got a default install using the whole of C: then:
MKLINK [[/D] | [/H] | [/J]] Link Target Run RPCEmu and create a directory in your RPCEmu root called symlinks (this could be anything you choose, but this is nice and obvious) then at a command prompt
NB. It’s only recently that I realised that RPCEmu could utilise the symbolic links, a quick test after that showed I could access the NAS share using the method above. |
