hi all, Ive written a simple basic program on RPCemu on pc and i would like to transport that basic file over to my real install of riscos 5 on my raspberry pi, i can only see the boot partition of my riscos installed SD card on my laptop, and cant see that same partition when its booted into the os on my Pi.. is there a way to transfer files from rpcemu on pc to the resources partition on my sd card? cheerrs, Mark |

Have you checked the filetype? Should be set to “BASIC” |

As patric says the file type needs to be basic. Odds on the file you transferred came via the Windows side of things and had a name with a ,ffb on the end as that comma and three letters is the emulator way of storing RO filetypes in the windows file system. A handy transfer method is to use a utility like bastxt http://www.xs4all.nl/~erikgrnh/riscos/bastext.html to turn the basic into a text file (editable anywhere) and then use the same utility to change back to basic on the target machine. |
