I am trying 0.9.4a on a 2017 27" intel iMac with Catalina 10.15.7 and RO439 ROMS |

I hadn’t noticed that until just now. I can confirm that Caps Lock can be engaged by pressing the Caps Lock button, but can’t be disengaged once selected. This happens both with Jan de Boer’s !Keyboard application and with a physical keyboard (RPCEmu 0.9.4a, RISC OS 3.71 and RISC OS 5.29, macOS Big Sur 11.6.7). The only fix is to restart RISC OS (Ctrl-Shift-F12 and click on the “Restart” button). Workaround: Don’t press Caps Lock. Ever. Addendum: The tests above were performed with RPCEmu-Recompiler. When using RPCEmu-Interpreter, in addition to getting stuck in Caps Lock, the next keypress after Caps Lock is always swallowed (both when engaging Caps Lock and on every attempt to disengage). |

I have belatedly discovered a way to disengage Caps Lock on RPCEmu 0.9.4a without restarting. Go to Configuration > Keyboard and click on the “Set” button. This can be repeated as many times in one session as is necessary. Not ideal, but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. |

Another work around would be my Virtual Keyboard Vkeyboard won’t change the behaviour of the real keyboard though. |
