Upgrading RPCemu to current version

Been a while since have been using RCPEmu. Current install is 0.9.2 with ROD RO5 5.27 (running on a reasonably locked down install of Windows 10) Is it ‘safe’ / straightforward to upgrade to RPCemu 0.9.4 and RO5 5.28 (or even 5.29), and maintain all current settings and software installs etc? Probably covered somewhere before (have done a bit of a search but couldn’t find what i needed), if so please point me in the right direction for a simple ‘step by step’. Will back up first of course. Thanks for any help. |

I use my own custom build of 0.9.4 and with RO 5.28, and also softloaded 5.29/5.30 without any problem. HTH |

‘custom version’ is that so you can use 8GB VRAM ? (vaguely recall you mentioning that elsewhere – anyway think it was you) |

No, just minor fixes to get it running on Apple Silicon, nothing that improves or adds features. |

was hoping to load 0.9.4 over the top of 0.9.2 – should that work OK? |

It should be fine, yes. But, in all honesty, all you need to keep is your hostfs directory, so you can just build the new release, install the ROM image you want and then move your hostfs in there. |
